London-based independent food business Greenwich Pantry is switching to Woodly bags as a part of its pursuit to explore and implement new sustainable practices in its business.
“We are exploring and implementing more environmentally sustainable practices and auditing areas where we can do our part to protect the environment,” said Lara Omoloja, the founder of Greenwich Pantry who operate the Arts Cafe at Thames-side Studios.
After first discovering the food waste-reducing Woodly bags, Omoloja liked the combination of sustainable simplicity.
“I discovered Woodly at Lunch – industry trade show and I was attracted to it because of its sustainability properties and its simplicity,” continued Omoloja.
The food service industry is embracing sustainable practices in full swing and Omoloja is enthusiastic to let customers know about the Woodly bags, which are made from carbon-neutral, wood-based and recyclable Woodly® material.
“I was impressed that Woodly is redesigning the way we use plastic in food service. Our staff and customers at the Arts Cafe love the bags,” says Omoloja.
The Greenwich Pantry Arts Cafe is located at Thames Side Studio, Warspite Road in London.
