Woodly partners with Wells Performance Materials

Woodly has partnered with Wells Performance Materials Ltd, an independent UK-based specialist compound manufacturer with annual capacity exceeding 12,000 tonnes.
The partnership enables local compounding of Woodly® materials in the UK — improving supply reliability, shortening lead times, and supporting Woodly’s growing customer base in food packaging and other applications.
Partnership Context
Wells is recognised for its technical excellence, strong R&D capabilities, and agile local production. Their expertise in polymer compounding makes them an ideal partner for Woodly’s UK expansion.
The collaboration fits Woodly’s capex-free, opex-light model, where scale is achieved through Tier-1 partners in the value chain. Producing Woodly® materials in the UK brings the product closer to customers, reduces transportation emissions, and provides the flexibility needed to serve a fast-moving market.
